The wine bars in the Milwaukee area can be hit or miss. Spring City Wine House is a great spot in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Tom and Stacy Hockel are local owners and Tom is a wine specialist. He hosts wine tastings throughout the year and has a great variety of wine in the Wine Stations. Wine Stations are a great option, you have the choice of three different pour sizes and it allows you to taste a variety of different wines. For the non-wine lovers, Tom also offers craft beer and a selection of spirits, whiskey and bourbon.
Tom also has a great selection of wines by the bottle. I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Tom with my wine tasting friends. Mike and Becky Ferguson turned me on to this cute little spot in Downtown Waukesha, the Sha as Mike refers to it. But I’ve also had great evenings with Randi and Todd Lammert.
